Find answers to common questions asked by our customers about AeroLattice™ Glow Mask.
We hear this constantly and honestly, that's exactly why we built this mask. Most LED masks use a rigid plastic shell that presses into your face, traps heat, and leaves marks on your nose and cheekbones. They feel heavy, claustrophobic, and after two uses you start dreading putting them on. So you stop. The technology works, but the design fails you.
The AeroLattice™ is a completely different experience. It's an open-lattice silicone design. Air flows through the entire time, so there's no trapped heat and no suffocating feeling. At 120 grams, most women tell us they forget they're wearing it within a minute. The silicone is soft and flexible, so it moulds gently to your face shape rather than pressing a rigid panel against it. No red marks. No pressure points. No dragging on the delicate skin around your eyes.
We also give you four wavelengths (Red 660nm, Near-Infrared 850nm, Yellow 590nm, Blue 460nm) Plus adjustable sessions of 15, 20, or 30 minutes and three intensity levels — so you're in control, not locked into a fixed 15-minute programme someone else decided for you.
The women who've tried other masks before buying ours are actually our happiest customers — because they finally understand what a comfortable LED mask feels like.
It replaces complexity, not adds to it. This is one step, 15 minutes on clean skin that does more beneath the surface than most of your serums can do on top of it.
Wash your face. Put the mask on. Press start. Sit back, read, scroll your phone, watch telly, or just close your eyes and have a quiet 15 minutes to yourself. When the session ends, the mask turns itself off. Apply your serum (your skin absorbs more right after a session), follow with moisturiser, and you're done.
No extra products. No complicated layering order. No standing at the sink for 20 minutes wondering if you're applying things in the right sequence. If anything, women tell us they've simplified their routines after starting because when something's working beneath the surface, you stop needing to pile so much on top.
That's a fair question. So let's be straight with you.
LED photobiomodulation has been studied for over 20 years. The wavelengths in this mask — particularly Red at 660nm and Near-Infrared at 850nm — are the most commonly used in peer-reviewed skin research. These aren't proprietary or made-up frequencies. They're the same wavelengths used in published clinical studies and professional clinic treatments. We didn't invent the science. We made it comfortable and affordable enough to actually use consistently at home.
We're also completely transparent about what this is: a cosmetic beauty device, not a medical device. We don't claim it treats or cures anything. What we do say and what the research supports is that consistent use of these wavelengths can help skin look smoother, brighter, and firmer over time. The key is consistent. That's why we obsessed over comfort because the fanciest technology in the world is worthless if the mask ends up in a drawer.
And if you're still sceptical: that's what the 90-Day Consistency Guarantee is for. Try it. Follow the protocol. If you don't see or feel a difference, send it back.
Here's the honest timeline based on what women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s typically report:
Weeks 1–2: A subtle post-session glow. Your skin feels calmer and softer to the touch. You might notice your serums seem to absorb better. Nothing dramatic yet. Your skin is adjusting.
Weeks 3–4: Texture starts to look smoother. Tone appears more even. This is usually when women say they're reaching for less concealer in the morning not because they planned to, but because they didn't seem to need it.
Weeks 5–6: Fine lines look noticeably softer. Skin feels firmer. This is typically when the people around you start to notice. Not because the change is dramatic but because something looks "different" and they can't quite put their finger on it. "You look rested" is the most common compliment women report.
Weeks 7–8: Compare your Day 1 photo to now. The difference is visible. Complexion looks healthier, more even-toned, more radiant.
We won't promise you'll look 20 again. But we will say this: the women who follow the protocol and show up consistently see visible changes. The ones who use it twice and forget about it don't. That's true of any skincare and it's why we designed everything in the box to help you stay consistent.
Yes. Timing is the only thing that matters.
Before your session: Nothing on your skin. Cleanse, pat dry, that's it. Products on your skin can block the light wavelengths from reaching where they need to go. Clean, bare skin gives you the best results.
Immediately after your session: This is the golden window. Your skin is at peak absorption right after LED, so apply your serums now. Hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C (stable forms like L-ascorbic acid), and peptide serums all work beautifully here. Follow with moisturiser.
Retinol: Apply it after your mask session, never before. Retinol can increase skin sensitivity, and applying it before LED can cause irritation and reduce the effectiveness of the light. If you're new to retinol, use it on non-mask nights for the first 2–4 weeks while your skin builds tolerance. Then you can combine them (mask first, retinol after).
Avoid on the same night as your mask: Strong chemical exfoliants like AHAs (glycolic, lactic acid) and BHAs (salicylic acid). These can over-sensitise the skin when combined with LED in the same session.
The mask is CE certified, emits no UV light, and is safe for all skin types when used as directed. Most women experience zero irritation. Many specifically tell us the mask feels soothing and gentle compared to the topical products they've been using.
However, there are some situations where you shouldn't use it or should check with your GP first:
Do not use if you: take photosensitising medication (isotretinoin, doxycycline, tetracycline antibiotics), have epilepsy or light-triggered seizures, have active skin infections, cold sores, or unhealed wounds on the face, have a history of facial skin cancer, or have a silicone allergy.
Check with your GP first if you: are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive, have melasma or hyperpigmentation concerns (LED can occasionally affect pigmentation), have rosacea or eczema, or take any medication that may cause photosensitivity.
We always recommend doing a patch test before your first facial session. Place the mask on your inner arm, run it at Level 1 for 15 minutes, and check for any reaction.
We designed for exactly this.
Most skincare routines fail because they ask too much of you, too many products, too many steps, too much time. By 10pm when you're exhausted and the sofa is calling, a 9-step routine feels impossible. So you skip it. Then you skip it again. Then you quietly give up and feel guilty about it.
This is 15 minutes. One step. Clean face, mask on, press start. You can do it while reading, scrolling, watching a show, or just sitting still with a cup of tea. The mask turns itself off, you don't even need to watch the clock. The women who use this most consistently tell us it became the easiest part of their evening. Not because they're disciplined but because it's genuinely that simple.
Everything in the box is designed to turn 15 minutes into a habit you actually look forward to. Not another thing on your to-do list you dread.
And if after 90 days of honest effort you still don't love how your skin looks? Full refund. No fine print. No awkward conversations. That's the 90-Day Consistency Guarantee.
